After months of waiting, Skins are finally live on the site!
If you’ve been a long-term holder of a Zed Run skin then today, you’ll be pleased to hear that Skins are going live.
Firstly, you’ll need to attach the Zed Run Skin NFT to your horse.
To begin, head over to your racehorse profile page:
- Select any of the skins that you currently have available.
- Click “Apply Skin” to begin the process.
- Click “Confirm” on Metamask. This may take several minutes to authenticate.
It’s important to note that Skins are entirely separate NFTs, they are not permanently attached to your horse. Just as you can Apply Skins, you can remove them from the horse.
To do that is simple:
- Select No Skin, as seen on the image below.
- Click “Remove Skin”
- Click “Confirm” to begin the process of removing your Skin from your racehorse.
And there you have it, you can now add and remove Zed Run Skins.

This is just the beginning for Horse Customisation in my opinion, it’s been teased that in the future we’ll have a Skin Marketplace where users will be able to buy and sell custom skins created by the community.
Whilst not integral to the core of the game, customising our horses and making each one unique and bespoke would really help stables develop their branding within the game.
