ON THE TRACK WITH ROID RAGER RACING

Recently, we reached out to our friends over at Roid Rager Racing to get some of their racing secrets! You might not know this, but they have made over 10 ETH in profit as of November 2021!

They were very excited to be apart of stable interviews, and had some awesome responses to our questions!

Here is the interview!

Q – What Is Your Stable Name?

Roid Rager Racing logo

Our stable name is Roid Rager Racing!

You can find it here for those interested in checking it out!

Q – What Are Your Stable’s Stats?

Currently, I have around 100 horses across 3 stables.

At the time of writing (November 2021), my main racing stable has 1314 first place finishes, 985 second place finishes, and 778 third place finishes.

In addition, our stable is maintaining above a 15% Win Rate with over 10 ETH in total racing profit!

Q – When Did You Start In Zed?

I joined Zed just before the drop in April 2021.

I was lucky to get in that early, as it really helped me get some great horses.

Q – What Is Your Proudest Achievement In ZED?

Tough to choose only one achievement to represent my entire stable.

Although if I had to, it would probably be when I was able to qualify 15 horses for the first official ZED Run tournament.

Sadly, that was quickly followed by my lowest point when 14 got eliminated in the first round!

Q – What Is Your Primary Focus In ZED? Breeding, Racing, or Selling?

Originally, I started by flipping horses on the after market for profit.

Slowly, it then shifted to breeding for a time.

Now my focus is mostly about racing since that is where I am seeing the most success.

Q – How Many Hours A Week Do You Dedicate To ZED?

Way too much!

I probably spend around 60 hours on ZED a week for a conservative estimate.

A lot of that is casually playing and racing while I am doing other things!

Q – What Is Your Favorite Horse You Own And Why Do You Love It?

Wedgie

Again, it is extremely tough to only choose one horse.

If I can only choose one, I’ll go with Wedgie!

He took me a long time to figure out, but I never gave up on him!

He developed into a nicely profitable sprinter and even qualified for the official Zed Run tournament with flames in his Quarter Final.

I have also developed a good friendship with the previous owner which has been a nice bonus!

Q – What Advice Would You Give To Someone Starting A ZED Stable Now?

Take your time and learn as much as you can about the strategies of the game.

It is vitally important to be patient right now because it is a long way from a completed product.

And most importantly, have fun along the way!

Q – Who Is Someone You Respect In The Zed Community And Why?

Initially, I watched all the videos by Poseidon and Doofy Racing, who both helped me get started in Zed.

Although, when it comes to playing the game for profit you can’t go past what Arbitrage Racing has been able to achieve.

What I respect most is their ability to identify and value a horse before anyone else.

Q – Where Will ZED Be 24 Months From Today?

Zed Run Racing

I believe in Zed Run long term.

I’m hopeful that over the next 24 months the game will be a much more balanced, smoother and become a larger scale product.

We will see regular tournaments, betting on select races, and sponsored races with large prize pools.

Hopefully, the amount of players is in the millions, and there is something for everyone. That is whether you are just playing for fun, or trying to earn a living from it.

Q – If You Could Change One Thing About Zed What Would It Be And Why?

Right now I would love to see something done about how time consuming the process of entering races is.

Not everyone has hours to spend waiting for the right distance and price point to appear in the right class for each of their horses.

Also, there is nothing worse than being stuck in a race waiting for days for it to fill up!

Q – What Is One Secret You Hate To Give Away But Will Tell Us About Your ZED Strategy?

A common thing to do is give up too early on a horse. Don’t give up on a horse if it gets no flames and comes last!

It is usually only a sign that it prefers a different distance.

Also, look for these types of horses on Opensea where stables have given up on them too early!

Q – Any Last Comments?

I think most players would agree that the best thing about Zed Run is the community, and I feel the same way.

I’m thrilled to be a part of it, and I’m always thinking about ways I can contribute and help add value to it!

Q – How Can People Follow Your Zed Journey Or Contact You?
