The grandstands are empty and pit crews have locked the garages and gone home: An exciting NASCAR Race Day at ZED RUN is officially in the rear-view mirror.
Thank you to all who came out and participated in what was a record-setting event at ZED RUN, and just the beginning of an incredible partnership with NASCAR. From the addition of the NASCAR Stakes racetrack to the debut and sale of the NASCAR ZED Pass, an unprecedented number of users took part in and engaged with our NASCAR Race Day festivities.
Let’s take a moment to look back, recap the festivities, and announce the lucky winners of our NASCAR ZED Pass giveaway.
Debut of the NASCAR Stakes Racetrack
Unlike any other racetrack in the ZED RUN ecosystem to date, the addition of the NASCAR Stakes racetrack brought a pleasant surprise for those asking, “Wen turns?!” From the grandstands lining the track to the tilting of the asphalt raceway and checkered flag finish, the NASCAR Stakes racetrack perfectly brought the look and feel of auto racing to ZED RUN.
An incredible 1,890 unique users raced 2,767 unique racehorses in 261 races that took place on the NASCAR Stakes racetrack over the 48-hours of NASCAR Race Day at ZED RUN.
NASCAR ZED Pass: Edition One
As part of our exciting partnership with NASCAR, we introduced the newest NFT to the ZED RUN game: the ZED Pass! Holders of the 1,000 Edition One NASCAR ZED Passes can expect to see some exciting in-game perks and airdrops in the near-future. In total, 900 NASCAR ZED Passes were sold on OpenSea, with 100 to be awarded to winners of our NASCAR Stakes racetrack giveaway.
These passes, along with future iterations of the ZED Pass, provide a vessel of which ZED RUN can transport open-ended utility to holders.
Winners of the NASCAR ZED Pass Giveaway
Originally, our NASCAR Stakes racetrack giveaway was to last 24 hours from the opening of NASCAR Race Day at ZED RUN (12am EST 3rd October), with 100 free NASCAR ZED Passes being distributed to the lucky winners who raced on the track. However, with the postponement of NASCAR YellaWood 500 at Talladega Speedway due to inclement weather, the team extended NASCAR Race Day an extra 24 hours. This means we will have one hundred extra NASCAR ZED Pass winners. These winners will be drawn at the commencement of NASCAR’s 2022 season, at which time we’ll be launching the next campaign to celebrate the kickoff. More details on these to come.

NASCAR Partnerships: What’s to Come
Partnership with NASCAR is far from complete. As with all our partnerships, the launch represents only the beginning with endless possibilities and collaborations ahead.
Immediately, ZED RUN users can continue to race on the incredible brand-new NASCAR Stakes racetrack, and NASCAR ZED Pass holders can expect to see some NASCAR-related utility on the way.
