Announcing the Redwood City Classic 2.0 Presented by the Netflix Film The Harder They Fall

Every record-setting blockbuster deserves a much-anticipated sequel, and with that said we’re excited to announce the Redwood City Classic 2.0 presented by the Netflix film The Harder They Fall is returning to ZED RUN for a second rendition.

The Redwood City Classic 2.0 will open for entries on November 23rd at 10 PM UTC bringing with it the same massive $75,000 prize pool and structure as the record-setting original. Also identical to the first rendition of this high-stakes race, this Classic 2.0 will boast a prize pool consisting of a combination of sponsorship funds and twelve entry fees of $3,000 per racehorse, and there will be no rake taken by ZED RUN.

What has changed this time around? We’re glad you asked.

Following the original ‘Redwood City Classic’ — won in thrilling fashion by the Sunny Days Stables’ incredible racehorse One More Tisha — we were overwhelmed by the support for more sponsored races. While in the future sponsored races will come in all shapes and sizes, the Redwood City Classic series demonstrates how partnership utility features can be planned and expanded upon.

To give our loyal community ample time to get their popcorn ready before a racing event of this magnitude leaves the gate, we’ve now set a concrete time for stable owners to enter in another quick-draw entry round. Entries to the Redwood City Classic 2.0 will be available on November 23rd at 10 PM UTC and the race will take place as soon as the race fills.

Get ready for a thrilling round of the $75,000 prize pool for the Redwood City Classic 2.0 presented by the Netflix film The Harder They Fall. See you on the track!
